Product Description

Through thousands of miles of accelerated testing in our R&D program, ICON has spent over a year identifying limiting factors in OE components and seeking to further extrapolate performance out of this vehicle. In a push to provide unparalleled performance for everything from high-speed desert running to off the grid expedition, the RXT Rear Suspension System was born. The RXT Rear Suspension System includes three all-new 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shock options and a multi-rate leaf spring that work in conjunction with the ICON rear bump stop kit. Installation of this system replaces the aforementioned “limiting factors” and completely redefines the potential of the Toyota Tacoma with a 20% increase in wheel travel and the ability to adjust the leaf spring rate to compensate for varying vehicle setups.

RXT Rear shock

• 10” aluminum reservoirs provide generous oil and nitrogen volume for consistent damping as shock temperature increases
• Corrosion resistant anodized aluminum shock bodies with 7/8" shafts
• Shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable
• Simple and straightforward installation
• Unique side-mounted lower eyelet allows for increased travel while utilizing factory mounting location
• Vehicle-specific tuned shocks provide increased damping and oil volume

Hydraulic rear bump stop kit

• 2.5” travel bump stop reduces rear end ‘kick’ and improves overall performance
• Position sensitive technology exponentially increases bottom-out resistance
• Vehicle specific bump stop tune to provide smooth engagement and best ride quality
• Direct bolt-in to OEM bump stop location makes for an easy and straightforward install
• Heavy duty 1 ¼” CNC machined nitro steel shaft
• Multi-stage CAD plated body for maximum corrosion resistance
• Double sealed high pressure Schrader valve Operating range of 50 – 250 PSI

Fitment Notes

• 2017-2023 Tacoma TRD Pro models will have 1.375-2.125" of rear lift over stock, depending on rear spring configuration and rear weight
• These are stand-alone kits and are not to be used in conjunction with any other aftermarket kits
• Shocks are fully serviceable. coilover heights indicated are for a stock equipped vehicle
•  Installation of complete ICON system required to attain advertised wheel travel. Use of any other manufacturers components will not provide advertised wheel travel and could cause unknown damage.
• Most Tacoma submodels withh have rear lift height range of 1.875-2.625", depending on rear spring configuration and rear weight
• Works with OEM wheel and tire fitment 
• Recommended After market tires: 33" x 11.50" (Larger tires may fit but fender trimming and modifications will be required)
